Standard Project Terms

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Standard Project Terms apply to all projects undertaken by Sales Lift (the “Supplier”) for its clients (the “Client”). These Terms, along with your signed agreement and accompanying Scope of Work, form our complete understanding.

1. Agreement Commencement & Scope

This agreement officially begins once it’s been signed by both the Client and the Supplier. It outlines the specific deliverables and scope of work for your project.

2. Purchase & Payment Terms

All purchase terms, including payment schedules, will be clearly outlined within your individual project agreement.

3. Changes to Scope of Work

Should you request any changes or additions that alter the agreed scope of work, these will be costed and charged separately. We’ll always provide you with a cost estimate for your approval before proceeding with any such changes.

4. Confidentiality

Both the Supplier and the Client agree to keep all confidential information shared during the project private. This includes business details, processes, and any project-specific sensitive data. We’ll only share this information with our team members, subcontractors, and service providers (including the software and AI tools described in section 7) who need to know it to deliver the project and are bound by confidentiality obligations at least as protective as these, or if legally required. Neither party will use the other’s confidential information for any purpose other than fulfilling our obligations under this agreement.

5. Termination & Refunds

Either party can terminate this agreement by providing 45 days’ written notice. Please note that refunds are not provided for work completed. If, at the point of termination, more work has been completed than has been invoiced, the Supplier reserves the right to invoice for all outstanding completed work, and this invoice will be due for immediate payment.

6. Exclusions from Costs

Our project costs do not include any third-party licence fees or subscriptions, such as those for platforms like HubSpot.

7. Use of AI and recorded meetings

We use AI tools throughout our work to improve accuracy and work faster. This includes recording and transcribing project meetings with AI note-taking software. We use recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries only to capture your requirements accurately, document decisions, check the quality of our work, and keep your team informed, for example by sharing a summary with someone who missed a session. Everyone on a recorded call will be told at the start that the meeting is being recorded. You can ask us not to record a meeting, or to delete a recording, at any time. Recordings, transcripts, and any data processed by our AI tools are treated as confidential information under section 4. We only use AI providers under terms that do not allow your data to be used to train their models.

8. HubSpot access and automated configuration

To set up and support your HubSpot account, you will give us partner access to your HubSpot portal. Where the project needs it, we will also generate a HubSpot service key (an API key) for our team to use. We use this access, together with AI tools working under our team’s direction and review, to create and configure properties, pipelines, workflows, forms, lists, and reports, and to import, export, and clean your data. By signing your agreement, you authorize this access for the length of your project and any ongoing support agreement.

We protect this access in several ways. Service keys are stored in an encrypted secrets manager and are never shared by email or saved in documents. We confirm we are connected to the correct HubSpot account before making any change. Changes are planned and approved by your project lead before we make them. We do not delete, merge, or bulk update your existing records without your written approval and a backup export first. New automations are created switched off until they have been reviewed.

You can revoke our access at any time. When your project or support agreement ends, we will ask you to revoke or rotate the service key. You remain responsible for your HubSpot subscription, your users and their permissions, and the accuracy of the data you provide. We are not responsible for problems caused by HubSpot outages or by changes HubSpot makes to its platform.
